The second great book in this series. Unfortunately it looks like the book formatting was slightly off. The right margin cuts of the last word in every sentence however viewed. Most of the missing words are easily guessed, but an irritation none the less.

Updated version received from author and is easily available on request, also correct version on amazon, brilliant. Highly recommended.

The story is weak and consists mainly of people practicing in virtual reality battles and so seemed to be description of video games. There was very little archeology. There was very little exploring. There was no anticipation and, in fact, nothing of any real interest.

This story just gets better and better and Telisa's character is maturing nicely with each book. It is also spurring me on to finish my own Sci-fi series. One gripe is that too much happens either underground in tunnels or in VR. Just my perception though.

This book was better than the first one, in that the grammar and plot flowed a lot better and didn't have as many times where you felt like you were missing something.
The plot evolved the universe behind the first book but still left the reader feeling as though they have been told only the highlights for what otherwise may have been an exciting and deep sci-fi universe.
The character descriptions were still initially detailed and could keep you thinking but some background on the interactions betweeen the characters were missing which let this down.
Even though it is a short novel (compared to some) it managed to get a decent storyline and adventure into it's covers.
Overall, worth a read if you are into sci-fi novels as the layout is slightly different to others.

The author continues the story of Telisa, Magnus et al and expands the universe and character list.

The unfolding of the story is brilliantly done. I found this to be even more of a page-turner than the first in the series.

The Terran/Shinarian alliance continues, for now and Telisa and Magnus continue to gather artifacts in dangerous circumstances while in parallel Telisa's father searches for her with a small team he assembles, playing off the Space Force against a criminal gang in the process.

I'm looking forward to more in this series.

Following up the intrigue of the first book I found this the second book of the series explained many of the open ended questions that had been left. A good plot and many interesting concepts put to the test, proving that a lot of thought had been put in with an ability to think "out of the box".
Highly recommended but reading book one first is a must.

This one is a bit of a struggle to get through. As a follow up to the ruins it's not bad and does continue the story well but seems to be a bit bogged down with itself.

This is good enough as a second installment. There was enough of a story to keep the pages turning. Obviously, it is lining up for the third book.

A very enjoyable story with a good set of characters, to identify with. I have already read the first book and look forward to books 3 and 4
