Dull dull dull
on 4 January 2016
This was as dull as dish water. Most of the "story" was an overly detailed description of a battle between the heroes, clones of the heroes, silly little flying robots, seaweed and the Trilisk. I wanted to just the nuke the station after the first few dozen robotic casualties, and move on to a more interesting scenario or plotline ,,,,,,,, well any plotline would have done.
As if this wasn't dull enough, the only other extended sequence was a repeat of book 1 where they reproduced the exact same horror office space in a training simulation and sent the new recruits through it. It wasn't that good the first time. Utterly mundane the second.
That's me and Trilisks done with.
