Imaginative and creative translations. 8 Mar 2000

I have read both metamorphosis and in the penal colony (the Kafka versions), and I think that Berkoff is a genius for creating such incitive and passionate stage versions of these texts. You can really feel the atmosphere and tension in these plays.

Berkoff at his best 24 Jan 2012

I found this a wonderful teaching aid for those students studying this story by Kafka. And if not studying this great author or Berkoff the director/actor then it proved a most entertaining DVD seeing his translation in play form.
