This was for my partner along with a metal detector and I was expecting a book focused on metal detection only. I realized when he opened it that is was in fact "treasure" hunting as in all kinds of treasure hunting and not just metal detecting !
So you will learn about finding gold, gems, fossils...
Otherwise it's pleasant to read, I think it was my mistake to have read the title too fast !

We bought this for our son aged 9 to go with his new metal detector. It was a little old for him on his own but we have gone through it together and have found it very helpful.
