My son wanted Trash Pack items for his 7th birthday, was really happy to receive same. Could start playing with it straight away and has played with same on his own and with friends. One part clicked off, but was easily put back together. Overall good fun.

This is my opinion of this toy as the buyer.
I would have been very disappointed with this if i had paid half the price i did for it, when it arrived it felt like an empty box, however, this was intended to be a gift for an 8 year old's Birthday present and it is what she wanted so it was wrapped up and given. Upon opening, great care needs to be taken as the body of the toy is flimsy and is 'tied' into the packaging in a several places.
It was assembled with ease, just two feet to attach, which is a plus, sadly, this is where the positives really begin and end. Unless the 'launchers' are faulty on this model, which i doubt as there are two and they perform equally badly, the Birthday Girl had difficulty operating them.
If you are contemplating buying this and, it is possible to do so, hold off a while, i have no doubt the price will drop

My son loves the trash packs, so this was a must buy for his birthday. You're not looking at one solid bit of kit here, but many bits that come off- once they do, no mortal child could clip them back together, cue hours of said child asking you to clip them back on. The flickers (modern day equivalent of tiddlywinks) in no way work, your trash packs will simply flip off onto the table/floor next to it.
They must just throw them in for the advert, there is no physical way they could propel an object through the air!
From a kids point of view, he likes putting "trashies" in prison, he likes throwing them in, he liked the special edition ones you got with it.
So I can't give it a zero because he liked it but I'm sure he'd like a cardboard box and a pack of "trashies" just as much.

My 7 year old son really wanted this item which, unusually, we didn't purchase from Amazon. However, the launchers are badly designed and simply don't work very well even if used by an adult, which makes it very frustrating to try to use this product as intended. The Scum Drum itself is also fairly lightweight and flimsy. Although the launchers are completely ineffective, my son still enjoys throwing trashies into the Scum Drum and enjoys playing with it. He was also delighted with the 2 "Ultra Rare" and 2 "Exclusive" trashies included with the Scum Drum. It does seem poor value when compared with other Trash Pack items such as the Street Sweeper and the Garbage Truck. So overall, although it's OK, it's probably not a recommended Trash Pack product.

Do not waste your money on this toy! My 6 year old wasted a Christmas gift voucher on this toy! Completely over priced. The launchers don't launch the trashies at all. Where is the toxic ooze? Only fun is the trashies that come with it, and playing with the set as if it is a prison for them. Wish we hadn't have bought it....the vehicles seem to be much better and more fun. Bitterly disappointed.
Edit.....Have to say, after giving product such a poor review, my son has played with it non stop over weekend and loved it! He managed to get the launchers working after some practice! However, much as he loves it, I still don't think it is worth the asking price as it is still is essentially,a cheap bit of plastic tat!

It took a little practice with the positioning of the spring boards and the force needed for an adequate launch for it to travel far enough to hit its goal. You need to hold onto the spring board when pressing down on it. Once that is mastered it provides lots of fun.
