Wendy Salisbury's odyssey is a fascinating memoir of how a woman of any age can grab herself some hot fun! This is no longer the preserve of men! It's an inspirational, honest, funny story which every woman (and man) should be able to relate to. Wendy is not afraid to tell it like it is - whether she's enrapt in a passionate encounter or has been stood up. Every aspect of a woman's social life is in there with a focus on toyboys, how to handle them and how much they can enhance your life! You go girl! Can't wait for the sequel!!

I thought this would be a laugh, a funny book about how it is once you pass the inevitable 40 mark. It was all that. Humorous, poignant and insightful about how a woman of a certain age thinks and behaves when engaging with men.
BUT BUT BUT.......Her 'honesty' borders on cruel and dismissive in some cases. If a man wrote such a book with such an attitude I doubt the world would laud him in anyway. Humor yes, mean-ness no.
No doubt the boys know who they are.... wouldn't it be fun to hear all from the other side!

I have just read this book and found it wonderfully entertaining, sexy and life affirming. I love the wit in it and also the honesty. I particulary enjoyed when the authoress voiced the dilemmas in her head about what to do and the openess when she felt she had made a mistake. At times she came across as so confident and in control and at times so cute and vulnerable.
She must have left a trail of very lucky boys, who have learnt from her and also were treated so magnificently and generously. It was fascinating to read about a woman's preparation for a date, the detail and care that she put into it and the respect obviously she had in her appearance and clothes. Also the pleasure involved in choosing what she was to cook, the music to play, the candles and the overall ambience - what special occasions for those lucky boys.
I found it was interesting to understand what such a relationship means from a woman's perspective.
