About the Author
Laura Garnham was born in Dartford, and studied Art and Design at Warwick University. She now lives in rural France with her husband. THE TINIEST MERMAID is her first picture book. Patricia MacCarthy studied at Brighton Art College and now lives in East Sussex with her husband, illustrator John Avon, and their two children. THE TINIEST MERMAID is her first book for Little Tiger Press.

This is a cute story of a washed up mermaid (delphi) and the girl who finds her. It's a sweet story and a firm favourite of my kids. The mermaid is taken in by the girl who puts her in her fishtank till she regains her strength and is finally able to rejoin her friends in the ocean. It's a sweet tale of friendship and magically illustrated to capture your little ones' imagination. Nice book.

My daughter, a mermaid fan, absolutely loves this book. She is 2 1/2 and it sparks her imagination. The tiniest mermaid has green sparkles in her tail that cover more and more of it as she gets feeling better - my daughter searches each page for her tail. We read it almost every night...

It's so nice to have a mermaid book to read to my daughter which is not about Ariel. My daughter loves to substitute the names of the characters with her and her friends names. Great illustration, sweet story.

My 4 year old daughter just loves this book. It's so sweet and the drawings are beautiful. The pages have raised sparkle illustrations that just bring the pages to lift. For the past couple of months, this has been her bed time story.
