Samurai is for anyone who wants to enjoy extra-challenging extended-length Su Dokus. If you regularly relish number puzzles but they are solved within minutes, you might prefer the extra exertion involved for Samurai. With its larger and more complex grid, Samurai Su Doku will have you glued to your chair mentally toiling for hours.
Samurai Su Doku is a five grid interlinked Su Doku. As with traditional Su Doku puzzles, every column, every row and every 3x3 box contains the digits 1 to 9. Where the puzzles overlap, the rows and columns do not go beyond their usual 9x9 length but the interlocking boxes give you more clues – and more complexity. Therefore, it is better to tackle the grid as a whole.
100 new puzzles, split between 4 levels of difficulty, with a few very easy puzzles at the start and a few super difficult puzzles at the end.

Much more challenging and fun than ordinary Sudoku grids. If you've never tried them but can do difficult Sudoku puzzles, then now is the time to have a go. I discovered samurai sudoku about a year ago and can't do ordinary sudoku anymore. The interaction of the five different puzzles is fantastic. I buy the 2 Times editions that Amazon sells together, do the puzzles and buy 2 more! The only complaint is that there are only 10 super difficult ones in each book. It is a pure addiction but deeply satisfying.
