Obviously The Witch Trade is brilliant for any fantasy/adventure fan but Time Witches includes a touch of horror and even more action. As the brilliant text whisks you through the fantastic chapters.As the exciting buildup introduces the horror of spiders and witches the humour and fantasy leaves you gasping,laughing and shivering. As you read the text Molloy's description digs into your imagination and you imagine all the fantastic characters running,cackling and burning. I would compare this to tobbaco because there is an addiction .A burning temptation to read on . A temptation so stong you won't want to put the book down. If you've read The Witch Trade then this . Overall a magical ray of hope that books won't become plain comic humour.READ IT!

If you want mysterious magic, elves,witches, werewolves and death,including bringing back the then you want this book and you want it now! A truly fascinating story by Michael Molloy
My two favourite characters are Abby Clover, a girl who is extremely headstrong and Lucia Cheeseman a night witch of the Black Forest - one of the biggest black worlds.
The story takes place in Pertunia Woodland when Abby tries to take a clock from Lucia to change time but no way will Lucia let this clock out of her hands!
The style used by the author stayed the same throughout the book and he used good vocabulary to really exagerate certain aspects and characters. I really loved the illustrations.
Buy it and read it - you won't regret it!

Not bad...but not great either

Having now read the 2nd book in this "witches" series, I'd have to say it is a pretty good. However, the characters are not all that memorable, and "winning" seems to be a little bit "too easy." All in all, a quick read but not nearly as good as the "Wizards" series from Dianne Duane.

time witchs the best!

I got this book at school thorw the riff program. I just piked it up just to get some thing 2 years a go. when I was sick I picked it upto read some tink and it was so good I finished it that day. what happens is that sir cadwick is going to marry Hilda but wolf bane capchers her and takes her back in time in a scelital coch . to before the nerist town was distroyed. they must rescue hilda and restore abby's ansestore's meting with her grat grandma or abby will never have been born, and stop wolfbane before time runs out, to find out more read the book you will enjoy in more then the first one if you have read it! But it does not mader if you have read the first one!
