Mild Slapstick 3 Oct 2009
Some mild slapstick is all that saves this comedy. Richard Hearne is Mr Pastry (a famous character he played for many years on stage, tv and film) and is okay in the role (looking like 'Allo 'Allo's Jack Haig). The music soundtrack is awful. A few familiar faces help - Richard Wattis, Harry Towb, Peggy Ann Clifford

Mr Pastry 6 Feb 2011
People of my age grew up watching him.
Slightly disappointing film but great to have a memory of him.
There are some slapstick gems & thats how we remember him.
Who remembers 'The Lancers' Mr Pastry's masterpiece.
