Book Description

12 April 2004
It is common knowledge that the way we think profoundly affects our health and happiness. As Tibetan Bon culture has known for centuries, true, original thought is one of the most powerful energy resources that we each have, and tapping into it can bring us great spiritual, emotional and financial success. But, as Christopher Hansard - leading authority in Tibetan medicine - explains, most of us don't know how to think effectively. What we imagine to be thoughts are simply reactions to our environment and to other people, and are far removed from 'original thought', which has the power to transform lives.

In this enlightening book, Hansard shows us how to take control of our thinking. Using simple meditations and exercises he shows how we can each harness the power of positive thinking to block negativity, transform emotions, and discover the deepest meaning of our lives, to make it the life we truly want to live.

So far I have only read the part about love, marriage and relationships cause I just borrowed the book from my friend for a couple of hours.I couldn't put it down until I finished the chapter. It was really overwhelming and I learned a lot.I think everybody should read it cause it's very insightful and useful for improving our lives, becoming a better person and of course evolving spiritually.I've already ordered the book and i'm looking forward to reading it all.it's a book you pick up whenever you encounter difficulties in your life and it will heat up your soul.

This is an excellent book for anyone wondering what life is about, has a crisis in their life or just wants to grow in one way or another. I actually read this book several years ago, but was recommended to it by a friend when I was trying to cope with a very hurtful rejection. Have to say it not only helped me over that hump but has put me back on track with my life in general.

5.0 out of 5 stars Peace and tranquility in GLASGOW 14 Oct 2003
Format:Paperback
I`ve not read Christopher`s first book but I think I will after buying T.T.A.P.T. I have only just started it but alresdy I have changed my outlook on life after reading the 1st chapter(The Power Of Thought). Most books in this field I have found are not the easiest to understand but Christophers explanations and examples make this book extremely readable for anyone infact I have recomended this book to several people already. Its the sort of book that if in 2years down the line your feeling a bit under the weather you could always go back to it and remind yourself what lifes all about and pick yourself up again.
If your a bit bewildered with life buy this and start a new one.
This is my new Bible for life ever after.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good book but!
I liked the book and what it was trying to get over about how to change your life, but it did not explain HOW to MEDITATE. It just assumed you already knew.
