Throttlepenny 19 Jan 2006
The book was so good I did it for my exam in school. I love the way the writer creates so much tension within a few chapters and how he has one wee town in an up roar about someone who didn't really kill Throttlepenny. It's a great spin chilling book, I found it hard to put the book down.

I found this book really gripping and it kept me turning the pages long into the night. The story is based around a thirteen year old girl named Jessie. She works in a bakery with a miserable old man nicknamed Throttlepenny. Jessie hates him but would never dream of killing him. However when he is found murdered all the evidence points towards Jessie. Will anyone save a 13 year old girl from being hanged. An excellent read and I would recommend it to teenagers and up! A ***** book! Natalie (13)
