Jupiter, Peter and Bob are back and better than ever. It s Jupiters birthday, and not by chance, a strange video falls into the hands of the friends. On it is footage of Jupiters parents, who died many years ago, trying to give their son the answer to an especially difficult riddle.
Of course, the boys immediately follow the clues to the abandoned and seemingly haunted - house of a mad professor. With the town Sherriff getting in the way, and the threat of ghosts upon them, can the friends solve the riddle left to them by Jupiters parents?

I bought this as a present for Nieces and nephews and they loved all the adventure and excitement and 'mild peril'.
I loved reading 'The Three Investigators' as a child myself and I was disappointed at all the changes that were made with the story to bring it 'up to date' It was made in South Africa and they have done a great job making it seem like the investigators are based in LA. Production looks top notch and the quality of the picture and audio is great.

I accidently stumbled across this film when looking for something for my 9 year old son, I thought it might be a cheaply made kids film as I hadn't ever even heard of it but it was so cheap I picked it up, along with the other one in this series, 'The secret of skeleton Island'. As soon as my son saw it, he wanted to watch it as he loves anything spooky and I have to say, I couldn't have been more wrong about this, it's a well made film with a great cast and most importantly, we all really enjoyed it.

This movie is exactly as expected, and is a brilliant family adventure film. It is, however, NOt the same as thebook, so expect a different storyline, but still very entertaining!
