It is a shame that the good footage shown in this documentary (in parts) couldnt have been used in a more objective, academic documentary ..but instead the History Channel has created another propaganda film to make the Nazis and Germans seem like they were some Satanic cult instead of a political party of 1930's Germany.

There are a lot of "what is this doing in the documentary?" moments..and really if you do buy might just want to turn the sound down and just watch what footage there is to watch inside this "documentary" only.

2.0 out of 5 stars A dissapointment 23 Sep 2011
I should have known better. First off, some of the footage doesn't match the commentary. There is also quite a bit of random footage that has been thrown in for padding, and has nothing to do with anything. The commentary itself is the usual American, in-your-face, over-dramatic style of delivery, with dozens of `IF' statements. It just drove me crazy. Definitely one for the waste bin.
