This year I auditioned for six different top drama schoool and I was accepted by four of them. This book helped me choose and direct my contemporary modern piece which obviously worked very well. Its easy to understand and if you are looking for audition pieces this is most defintley the right place to start!A must have and a really brilliant read

A good try 27 Jun 2009
By B. Kay
Format:Paperback
Full of audition pieces, but if you are trying to get into one of the big schools like RADA or Central, they need you to have read the whole play.

My daughter liked the one about Cassie - we tried to get the play, but it was not available here. When ended up having someone post it from the US, and then discovered that the audition piece had actually been rewritten - it's really all said by the man in the play, not Cassie at all. So that was a surprise!

But a good range of pieces, and many available here.
