Synopsis
Condemned to die by Pharaoh while just a baby, Hebrew Moses is set adrift on the Rice Nile by his mother and his sister. Rescued by the daughter of Pharaoh, he grows up thinking he’s an Egyptian prince. Eventually exiled from Egypt when he is exposed as a Jew, he is touched by God, and told that he will lead his enslaved Chosen People to the Promised Land. With the hand of God firmly on his shoulder, and with faith as his only weapon, Moses performed miracles, casts down plagues, evades a pursuing Egyptian army, parts the Red Sea and, after forty years of leading the Hebrew Chosen Ones to the Promised Lad, is embraced by God and led to a better place. What makes this version of The Ten Commandments unique is that it highlights Moses’ family, both real and extended, on this long journey. Filled with high adventure, the miraculous, and a gentle sense of humour, The Ten Commandments showcases Moses, the reluctant prophet, who was the only man in Biblical history to see the face of God and call him “friend.”

Very impressed with this film. We have Prince of Egypt (which we love) but this film takes the story further by including the time in the desert. Very well done - I have used this to watch with my family and also in Sunday School. Excellent resource.

Great animation and soundtrack. The film covers many episodes from the exodus which are not seen in other films about Moses such as the manna and quail scenes. My children loved it and so did I.

Not has accurate has the bible but still interesting to watch, good grapics and computer animation for children.The grapics are better than the prince of egypt's dvd.
I would recommend this dvd,for it's biblical content.
This dvd lacks singing and good musical arrangment which i believes let's
it down.unlike the prince of egypt which used world class singers.out of 10 i would give it 7

Children bible film
