I would recommend this if you are a fan of codeword puzzles. 200 puzzles is a good number to keep you busy for a while longer than other collections. Though I did find the majority of puzzles rather challenging (more so than other books I had previously worked through) with only 2 consonants given and no vowels etc.

The codewords are excellent but the layout is very poor. The book is too thick for easy handling or tofit into a pocket. There is too much wasted space especially with the answers at the back of the book. I shall hesitate to buy another in the same format.

We became addicted to codewords through the ones published in newspapers. This is the first book I buy, It is challenging. The paper not very good quality but the price is reasonable.

Thought it was a Daily Telegraph book and found i didn't like the different layout of the Solutions.
The DT solutions allow you to look up only one letter at a time if you get stuck instead of, as in the Telegraph solutions which confront you with the entire answer in one go.
I wasn't aware at the time of buying that the Telegraph Book of codewords was a different publication from the Daily Telegraph.

I am quite keen on codewords and have several different sources that I regularly use. I was delighted by the First Telegraph book - all the puzzles were indeed new. But in this volume I keep coming across puzzles I have solved before. If you do a lot of codewords I would give this one a miss.

200 puzzles is good value. These seem a bit hard at first, if you (like us) are used to the easier ones that tend to give you 4 letter starter clues (usually including 2 vowels). Certainly a bit of a challenge with only 2 letters (and no vowels!!).

Good code word puzzles but the solutions are only shown as completed grids. I prefer them shown as a letter / number bar so that I can check one without seeing the whole word or section of the puzzle.
