A very personal insight into KVD's life- which sometimes makes for very uncomfortable reading knowing she has now split from Nikki Sixx- but the main part of this book is the stunning tattoo work and the stories behind the people. The book is beautiful- a piece of art in itself- and I'm a huge KVD fan and treasure this book very much.

Loved this book, it is so differently done, from Kat's diary pages to the illustrations scattered around the pages.It gives a great insight into working in or running a tattoo studio and also into Kat as a person/artist/tattooist etc. I really could not put this book down.

This is a book I have bought for someone as a gift, and have yet to give it to them.. first of all the book is graphically designed to rock and roll perfection from the colours to the typefaces to the photography used. The whole book has a real gothic / glam feel and is full of personal diary entries supported and enhanced by the stunning, visually amazing tattoos and of course the clients that KVD comes into play with. Tattoos are not just an art form on the skin, but as this book suggests, they bring people together through touching emotional stories and real life events. Kat Von D is not only stunning but is incredibly down to earth considering her artistic talents and the fame she has found through her passion for tattooing. This is a great coffee table book for those yet to experience the world of tattooing and of course for those who already have. Would totally recommend to all KVD lovers.
