I thoroughly enjoyed the book having lived in Scotland during King Ken's reign. His defeat at the hands of stone Roberto Duran must go down in history as one of the biggest travesties of justice in the ring. Great story from one of the legends of British boxing. This is a story of a young boy who had the support of his Dad & the drive and character to reach the very top of his sport by sheer determination and no shortage of natural skill.

The Tartan Legend: The AutobiographyI HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING KEN ABOUT SIX YEARS AGO WHEN MY DAD HAD A STROKE. HE WAS A GENTLEMAN AND CAME TO VISIT MY DAD AND GAVE HIM SOME GIFTS AND SIGNED HIS AUTOBIOGRAPHY BOOK. A LOVELY GUY. THIS IS A FANTASTIC BOOK ALL ABOUT KEN. I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE WHO IS PROUD TO BE SCOTTISH, AS KEN BUCHANAN IS.HE FOUGHT FOR HIS COUNTRY TO THE END.
