This book outlines more of an approach to painting, not just techniques. It opened up an entirely new world, allowing me to explore the medium. I'd recommend it for the serious artist as well as the beginner. Trust me, it's a beautiful book that will inspire you to do things with watercolours you never thought possible.

This beautiful book will expand the horizons for artists of all mediums, abilities and experience. It uses the basic concepts of Eastern philosophies in conjunction with western techniques. Moreover, it is inspirational, and will be found so even by non-artists. This is an undiscovered treasure.

I was so inspired by the book I when to a day and half workshop of the authors in Pasadena recently. I loved the book and was quite pleased with the results I was getting with my paintings. I am a visual person and seeing her deomstrate her techniques in person was a very valuable learning experience. I am looking forward to her next book - its on order with Amazon but has not arrived from the publisher as yet.

A superb teaching book for both the beginner and the more advanced. Easy to follow and understand. Good pictures and examples.

a complete waste of money
It beggars belief how this book appeared in the 'Watercolour' section on Amazon. It would be better placed alongside the vast range of New Age/Alternative books. Read more

Relaxed at last.
Everyone who has made any attempt at painting with watercolour knows that it can be the most unforgiving medium.Months and years can be spent learning to "control" it. Read more
