5.0 out of 5 stars A moral in this story 4 Jan 2014
By Jane Baker VINE VOICE
Format:Hardcover
I buy my step-granddaughter a collector's copy of a Beatrix Potter book for each birthday and Christmas, together with a reading copy. I am enjoying the series all over again and it takes me back beautifully to the happy bedtimes when I read these to my son so long ago. A treasure which every child should enjoy.

I specifically wanted this book for a friend who has a ceramic figure of one of the characters in the book. For some reason this book is not easy to find so I was delighted to get it.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Tale of Johnny Town-Mouse 3 April 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Hardcover
This is a wonderful book for early readers about Two mice and their adventures into the unknown. Timmy, the country mouse goes into the town by accident and gets a big surprise at the very different lifestyles etc. This book really relates to real life situations and how people get really surprised and scared in a new place. I would reccommend this story to children who are in the process of moving or have a new friend in town. It will help them realize how everywhere is different.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just what I was looking for. 21 Feb 2014

I was looking for the traditional Beatrix Potter Peter Rabbit series so I could complete a set started many years ago for my 2 sons. They have been passed along to my granddaughter and having the complete set to share with her is perfect. The books haven't changed at all, same book covers, font, size they are all great!
4.0 out of 5 stars Cute, but not Ms Potter's best 21 Sep 2013

The story is of the city mouse and the country mouse. The ebook had no drawings. I still enjoyed it, but it is not the full Beatrix Potter experience. Acceptable for a free ebook, though!.
