5.0 out of 5 stars Cracking Album 16 Nov 2013
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Bought this purely on a hunch and the strength just one sample taken from the track 'sleepless' which is a stormer (deadwing era Porcupine tree). Check this track out as it even has Colin Edwin guesting on bass. All in all great lyrics, well paced and a totally refreshing album. Buy it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb album. Brilliant musicians. 8 April 2014
Format:MP3 Download|Verified Purchase
Saw Crystal Palace play in Holland recently. I was blown away by them on stage and decided to buy their latest album. It is stunning. Brilliant playing, great singer and thoughtful lyrics. The riffs are awesome (listen in particular to Sleepless and Breathe), yet the songs are melodic. There are a mixture of keyboard and guitar solos - always varied, always interesting. If you like your guitarists like Steve Hackett, Steve Rothery, Dave Gilmour, Kalle Wallner (RPWL) and Paul Davies (Panic Room) you will love this.It is always a joy to find something new that really grabs your attention. Crystal Palace certainly grab the attention.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, solid, modern neo-prog 18 Feb 2014
By Michael S Katz - Published on Amazon.com
Thanks to the previous reviewer for letting me know just who the singer reminded me of (Yogi Lang from RPWL). Crystal Palace share much in common with RPWL, including sound and style. Some highlights: Sleepless, with its awesome riffage – guitars and keys – that drive the song. Green Way puts an 80s pop spin on things. Stunned By the Silence is a sad song about a school shooting that takes a while to get going but leads to a powerful denouement. Beautiful Nightmare is a longer track, and its disturbing lyrics, I think, are meant to discuss how TV desensitizes people from violence. Overall the album is heady stuff, and musically consistent. A disc I keep playing on heavy rotation.
5.0 out of 5 stars Rpwl/Porcupine Tree 2 Jan 2014

Yogi Lang assisted in this German groups album and his fingerprints are all over it . This album needs to be heard from start to finish. The songs just flow creating a mezmerizing work, If you are a fan of RPWL or P. Tree get this album. Great songwriting and a very clean production, courtesy of Mr. Lang. This is one of my top picks for 2013
