4.0 out of 5 stars Good character development 23 Feb 2014

The story has tension and is well developed. The characters come to life and are generally well developed. Situations were generally well connected. I felt the location-never leaving a forest- was a bit limited and the story has a lot of potential if more ideas could be explored. The second book looks (although I haven't read it) as if it may further explore other issues.

SHOULD BE MADE INTO A FILM TRILOGY, could be the next Lord of the rings/Harry potter block buster. If you read this first book you will be compeled to read the following two of the series.

3.0 out of 5 stars Simplistic. Lacks depth
3 stars for being a freebie.

Story is too simplistic and bland in it's execution for me. Can't bring myself to read any further.

The cover art on this book is very good. The story within is worth every penny I paid for it. It was free!
