Well what do you expect from twins, nothing but fun and excitement. I laughed so hard in places, about their antics, and the poor bloke who rescues them and protects, thinking he may be the other way, he is so pleased to find that he isn't, when he finds out the lad he has feelings for is in fact a girl. They like to take it in turns to play the boy, well who wouldn,t in them days. Fun pack, with a suberb love story.

Okay, if you have not found this delightful book that is full of sides-splitting laughter, then you have really missed a delightful read!
Lynsay is fast providing she is the Queen of Hijinx with this case of Switcheros! When Jeremy Radcliff first meets 'Charlie' and his/her sister, they are escaping from their uncle - taking turns in the guise of one of them playing a young gentleman and the other a widow to observe properity and escape detection. But problems abound when Jeremy "insists" on escorting them to London!
From the first, when Charlie sets eyes on the handsome lord - and then prompty falls out a window - she knows her guise as a lad is doomed to failure or frustration! She is not sure which!
A glorious great tale sure to help pass a rainy weekend! I do not recommend reading this on the beach - as you will having everyone staring at you wondering why you are howling hysterically!

This was one of the funniest books I have read in years! I don't know how Lynsay Sands does it but I am truly glad to have discovered such a gifted writer. I woke the whole house from laughing when Radcliffe took Charlie to the brothel!

My third Lynsay Sands read having previously read The Reluctant Reformer and the Countess. I found all three books to be entertaining if somewhat lightweight and american at times.
I don't understand however how the charming kindly brothel keeper Agatha from The Reluctant Reformer reappears the ghastly, cruel and criminal hag Aggie in The Switch. I felt this spoilt the story as I was distracted wondering what had brought about this ghastly change. Surely it would have been better to have created new characters for those parts. We all like to read about familiar characters from other novels but I feel that the writer has used this devise just for the sake of it.
