I have dipped into about 5 random chapters so far and I am pleased with the portions I have read of this book.
It lives up to the good reviews it has received on the various Amazon sites. Another purchaser's review on the US Amazon site said that one particular chapter was worth the purchase price alone, and I agree with that sentiment. The chapter discusses why other people might dislike, misunderstand, and discriminate against survivor types, which is indeed helpful if you have been on the receiving end of those reactions yourself, but didn't know why.
The author injects some humour into his subject - I have laughed out loud unexpectedly several times while reading this book. It's quick to read, contains some good information that one can put into practice if one wishes, and is somewhat reassuring to the "survivor" types of outliers (especially female ones) who sometimes face social disapproval for no apparent (to themselves) reason.
