Product Description

From the Publisher

This is an unusual and well-written tale, credible and compassionate, about a girl whose hubris entices her into the ruinous fires of envy, savagery, sex and nihilism, a glowing thread which is fused with a well-delineated background of military intelligence anecdotes and the twilight of a bygone way of thinking. It is perhaps also about the last Anglo-Saxon who endeavoured to save Britain from destruction by smug and sinister socialists.

Most Helpful Customer Reviews

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful By Mike Naish on 17 Jun 2006
Format: Paperback
This is a well-written credible and dynamic story dealing with a British Army colonel who struggles to outmanoeuvre certain glib and effete politicians. As well as the basic plot - which feels very authentic - he uses a beautiful but depraved girl as his avenging angel ... bitter, sensual, leather-clad and addicted to sinister excitement.

What most impresses me with this book is that whilst every section is gripping, nothing is shallow. It could be - and maybe is - true. It should engage both the military intelligence buff and anyone with an interest in the corruption of the Wilson government.
