This book contains great photographs illustrating each stretch and position well and the exercises and routines are good for relaxation and are easy to fit into your day. I use exercises from this book to wake up, chill out and refreshers to longer sports specific flexibility sessions. This book is recommended for anyone looking to improve their general feeling or wellbeing through stretching and for people looking to improve their general fitness and conditioning. For athletes I would recommend this alongside the The Anatomy of Stretching by Bradley Walker which I have found better for sports specific and conditioning sessions.

Ive been looking for a short exercise regime to do in the mornings.The 10 minute programme has been great.Some of the longer ones look to be more suitable for very fit and flexible people.I would be a little wooried about trying some of them.Well illustrated book and easy to follow.Have enjoyed the variety of stretches and exercises,Well worth buying!

i found this book very good quality. good pictures and explanations. good advice about relaxing and getting the most out of stretching (i was doing it pretty wrong before). the routines and sports specific excersixes are very handy so you dont just do a load of random stretches.i bought this book on advice when buying the anotomy of stretching and im glad i did. the minor downside is that not all the stretches are suitable for beginners/un supple people. this is where the anatomy one comes in and i can use less intense stretching where i find the one in the book to much. also its like 19 years old. im not advicing you to buy a newer title on the subject as like i said this book is good. if you buy the anotomy one youre all good but if you dont -spend a bit of time finding GOOD advice on the net about what not to do if your a biginer. and i dont mean just go in a forum.

This is a great book on suppleness. The routines range from area specific to 10, 20 30 minute routines. This book as been hard to find in my local store. I love this book - I've purchased one for a friend and am now purchasing for myself (again) and another friend. Clear instructions. I wish it were spiral bound though. My original book is all beat up from use, that's why the 2nd purchase.
