You will enjoy this book depending on whether or not you have a closed mind to alernate concepts of our world and past that have not been indoctrinated to you since your youth. I enjoyed it immensely and it made a great deal of sense. It's well researched, well thought out, planned and executed and most importantly leave you thinking over the content and ideas within it for long after you finish. I myself have read this book more than once since i first got it years ago and recommend giving it at least two reads through.
The book deals with the possibility that a group of intelligences that periodically visit the earth with the intentions of educating our people and advancing them. But this is no sensationalist UFO book, far from it. No tales of flashing disks in the sky or any such yarn is spun and the book fares all the better for it. Instead were are shown a collectinve study of how these indivuduals that came to earth might even be linked to each other.
The book primarily deals with the Mayans and the Mayan god-king Lord Pacal. His story is the most fascinating one in the book and is a little shallow in my opinion, i found myself wanting to know more and more about this person as i read it. Mayan transformers and their mysteries are clearly explained in the book and with some shocking results.
In short i say that if you have any interest in alternative human history or the Mayan culture then definitely buy this book.
