About the Author

Judith Nicholls is one of England's best-known children's poets in addition to being an author and compiler of over forty poetry anthologies. Mother of three and grandmother of four, she currently lives in Wiltshire, and runs school poetry workshops for teachers and students alike. She also compiled Someone I Like: Poems About People (2000). Beth Krommes considers her two daughters, Olivia and Marguerite, to be her biggest inspirations. Lovely poems and wonderful illustrations 27 April 2003

My Son and I gave this book to his teachers as an Earth Day present. All of them loved it, especially the illustrations. That Earth Day falls in national poetry month made is even more appreciated.
