4.0 out of 5 stars A 'feel good' read 4 July 2003
By Jona
Format:Paperback|Amazon Verified Purchase
Not my usual type of book, but one worth reading. The story is about 3 likeable women who meet on their collective 21st birthday, all have the world at their feet and everything to look forward to. 19 years on they meet up to spend their 40th birthday together, sadly each has made mistakes and all have regrets. They receive an offer - relive 3 weeks of their lives, and if they prefer they can keep their new lives.

I won't spoil it for you and tell you what each chooses to do with this gift, but overall this book is a light, cheerful read and gives you something to think about for an evening or two - which 3 weeks would you choose?

5.0 out of 5 stars Great read 18 Jun 2010
Format:Mass Market Paperback
This was a book I read for our book club, suggested by another member and I had not heard of it before. I was ill the day it arrived so I began the book and immediately got so into it that I only stopped to make dinner for the children, then carried on reading it until I had finished! It was a great read and I really enjoyed it. The story was interesting and different, if not a little far-fetched in places, though, as it is a book, it is allowed to be! I liked the characters very much and the style of writing. I did not want to put it down and was disappointed to finish it. Our whole book club thoroughly enjoyed this read and we would recommend it to anyone.
