By DUNCAN
Whilst this sequel overflows into city streets, theatres etc, the scenery is actually very similar to the prison setting of part one (indeed prisons feature more than once here as well). The monsters are mostly identical to those in the original. The atmosphere is intense and edgy, as before. The hero, Tork's ambiguous morality is again presented with great skill by the game's developers - the scenes involving apparitions of his family are sometimes harrowing.

No doubt players will be polarized on whether the 'save when you like' feature is a good or bad thing. Personally, I was grateful for this during the final chapter.

In summary, if you know part one, part two is pretty much the same.

Fun:
In all respects just like the first,it's a direct sequel, following on from Torque's escape from Carnate, the two things I didn't like about this were, the inabilty to store xombium, you have to use it as you find it,on more than one occasion I inadvertently stumbled over some when I was at 90% health and needed it badly a few moments later when it wasn't there, also the indestructible guys who can only be killed in rage form meant gunning down waves of grunts until it had refilled enough, compounded by the health system meant the first game was better, ending's kind of weak too.
