5.0 out of 5 stars A very essential guide! 14 Oct 2013
This is a must have book for any trainer, presenter or speaker. I cringed at how many mistakes I have made before reading this book and now feel much more informed and ready to deliver engaging and impactful training sessions and presentations. It is written in a down to earth, humorous and conversational style, as if you are in the room being talked to by Alan. I read it in just 2 sittings and have already put it to good use.

5.0 out of 5 stars can a book be awesome? yes it can! 8 Sep 2013
What can I say? It's brilliant! You have effectively highlighted the mistakes I think 99% of us make - using PowerPoint as a visual aid! All in all, a fabulous book - lovely, light friendly and accessible writing style, as if we're sitting together discussing presentations. You kept me interested and enthused throughout and your advice and guidance will mean that I shall be making changes to my presentations to renew my positivity about my work. Thank you!

5.0 out of 5 stars essential reading for all presenters 5 Sep 2013

I learned more from this book about giving presentations than the 'Training the Trainers' courses I have been on. It is so readable and user friendly and I have no doubt it will influence for the better any future presentations I give.
