I am a business consultant by profession. I have read many books on the latest innovation regarding strategy development and strategic thinking. This is one I really enjoyed. For me as a practitioner it took strategic thinking to a more personal and emotional level of thinking. It challenged the way I was used to approaching issues and personalised the journey for me. I found myself recognising specific disciplines within the book as reflecting some of the ways in which I operated but it also brought other disciplines into play and it connected them together for me. It is clear that this way of thinking has applicability beyond the narrow confines of the business world that I so often get wrapped up in.
