This is the last in The Stranger series and is by far the best of them all in terms of both storyline and script.

At the end of the previous film, Breach of The Peace, Saul and Egan go through the portal and force Soloman to go with them by threatening his girlfriend. Something goes wrong and they arrive in an unexpected location.

In a secluded house in the middle of nowhere a small group of people are conducting a scientific experiment relating to mind control. A scientist is trying to train a subject with some telekenisis abilities to hack into the military missile defense system but the experiment goes wrong and drags the three men out of the dimensional web mid-teleport. Egan is shot and held in a bedroom in the house while they wait for an ambulance, but a storm brings the telephone lines down and the phone goes dead before the call can be completed so the ambulance never arrives.

Egan falls in love with Meta, the codename for the girl involved in the experiment, but the experiments they are conducting are posing a threat to their dimension. Meta is unable to stop what's happening to her and the only way to put an end to it is to kill her. This leaves Egan in a terrible dilemma.

I won't spoil the ending by saying what happens but this is a great storyline. It is a mixture of psychological horror and science fiction which works really well in creating a tense, scary atmosphere.

I really liked the way the characters are developed in this story. Saul is as vile as ever, Soloman just wants to get back to his girlfriend who he was forced to leave behind in the previous film and Egan shows a softer, more caring side to his usual violent nature.
