I saw The Storys live at a small venue in Petersfield this month and thought the music was the best I have heard live since Fleetwood Mac's tour 18 years ago! The CD does not lose the intensity and is wonderfully crafted. Indeed their strength is their harmonies but also the meaningful lyrics, coupled with acoustic/headonistic/I'm watching the sunset on a beach type melodies that are a breath of fresh air. Every track is a gem, it is rare to get an album these days where each song has individuality and merit, not all commercially driven. If you like Fleetwood Mac, Steeley Dan, Eagles etc you will love this, especially as it is new, live and now.

I saw these guys on a whim when they visited Liverpool recently. What a treat! Entirely unique but with shades of Eagles, Beach Boys and even Pink Floyd. The album is just as good as the live performance, with excellent production values. 3 months later I'm still playing it in the car most days, so the instant appeal that you get on first hearing them will be maintained. You will be delighted and amused.

Went to see Elton John last week in Taunton. The Storys were supporting them. We thought that they were totally excellent there.

Came home and bought their album straight away. The album is every bit as good as their live performance.

Haven't stopped playing this CD over and over again since it dropped through my letter box. It is easy to listen to, caters for a lot of tastes and very addictive.

Superb album - perfect listening for the summer with wonderful "west-coast" harmonies. Was lucky enough to see them play live in Cardiff and they are better live and you realise then that they share vocal duties on each song. Not very often you see 4 members of a band who can all sing superbly in their own right, but when together form wonderful harmonies. Highly recommended

Saw the Storys supporting Katie Melua at Wembley Arena on Sunday and had to get the album. Great band, excellent lyrics, powerful music, strong stage performance. Can't wait to see them again. Destined for great things !

Excellent debut album. shows the ability of the band to their full potential. The band is excellent live and acoustic set is awesome so to have a mixture of both on the album is a bonus for me
Their debut single cinnamon is featured on the album with new sones and some earlier tracks all good solid music to enjoy.
Those worried about style if your an ageing hippie like me then buy it. If you like newer stuff then you will not be disappointed as the band fits this genre also to good effect so buy it. Simply stated BUY IT now and enjoy a well balanced excellent debut album.

This sounds like the soundtrack for the forthcoming summer. Close west coast feel-good harmonies, great song upon great song, that summer California feel. A great debut. And what's more, Elton John loved it so much he asked them to support him on his UK tour this summer! Can Elton get it so wrong? I don't think so. Buy this album now and tell your friends how you predicted they were going to be the next big thing before they become the next big thing!
