Product Description

Review

witty and entertaining ... There's likely to be a slew of books about the Olympics before the Games open, but this one will take some beating: loads of information, engaging format and written with wit. 4/5 stars (THE BOOK BAG )

perfect for keeping friends and family informed and plenty to talk about during the games. Lots of lesser-known facts, all amusingly presented and enhanced by the comical illustrations. The champions, the scandals, the records - they're all here. Great fun! (PARENTS IN TOUCH )

A treasure trove of a book (THE SCHOOL RUN )

Book Description

Records and reputations, cheats and champs, victors and venues - here's the lowdown on the modern Olympic games, published in advance of London 2012, from the one and only Richard Brassey.
