This is the best guide I've found to surfing in Europe.
It is most detailed for Britain, Ireland, France and Spain. It still lists other area but not in as much detail.
The book is in English with a french translation on the bottom of the page.

You must buy this book if you're planning on going further afield than your regular break. I spent 8 months in France and found some great spots on the back of this book. And when you're stuck at home, you'll find yourself drooling over the pictures and mentally planning your way around europe!

This really is a must for anyone interested in surfing. The detail is incredible and very useful, and the pictures are amazing. This book shows why Europe and the British Isles have some of the best surfing spots on the planet.

What an amazing book. Whilst the world stormriders guide has to cover the globe - the european stormriders guide goes into great detail of local spots in europe, with superb illustrations and travelling information. A must in the surfers reportoire!

I thought that is a bit expensive when I first saw the price but it is worth every penny. It is full colour, glossy pages. It is also very comprehensive. I am planning my entire next surfing trip around the beaches reviewed in this book. It also has useful travel facts. With sections about the local culture and people. It is worth the money just for the photographs. They made me drool with anticipation of surfing them.

The book is very good, it's informative. I'm a surfer and found a few inaccuracies about the times you can surf. Some reef breaks in Ireland, where I live, can't be surfed at high tide. For instance it says you can surf Inch Reef at high tide but you can't, that would be very dangerous. But besides this I found it a good book.

If you don't have a copy you should buy one right now. The definitive bible of european surfing. Loads of spots you've heard of and loads you haven't. Fantastic photos make this good for a bit of wishful reading - and detailed maps make it an ideal travel guide.
