Jay Abraham comes over as the typical American business guru - long on superlatives, adjectives and friends with everyone who is anyone. Do not let this fool you into thinking that his advice is as useless as some of that motley crew. Indeed some of his advice has a habit of re-appearing as the advice of others; the sincerest form of flattery.

He is an original thinker with an excellent grasp of business, of opportunity and of lateral thinking. His analysis of the sticking points encountered by businesses is spot on from my experience, and I think his solutions are very good. Even where one disagrees with his view it starts one thinking; and if there was one over-arching solution to sticking points it is exactly that, start thinking.

Recommended.

I very much like the concise and direct style of the prose. The chapters are clearly laid out with a summary of the key points at the end of each one.
Sometimes one can read a book like this and finish it wondering what steps one should take. But here the action steps are clearly laid out. And indeed, it is one of those books where I wanted to take notes when I went through it a second time. My copy is quite dog eared now - because it gets referred to regularly!
Just as scientists, doctors etc. have to read avidly to keep up to date in their field I think business people should do likewise. On my must read (or video watch) shortlist are the four who never fail to deliver excellent content: Dan Kennedy, Chris Cardell, Brian Tracy and of course Jay Abraham.

Like all of Jay Abraham's works, this is a must read. If you are a business owner (small or large, it doesn't matter) this book will give you the means to really make a difference. Written in the pits of the current epression, this will help people to stop an think about what they are doing (or not as the case may be). If people adopted these principles in the good times as well as the not so good, they should be able to weather the storms of any future economic downturns.

But this book isn't just for business owners. The ideas it expounds are just as suitable for a business unit manager or anyone employed in the business development arena.

Can't recommend it enough.
