This book is beautifully written. However, what really did it for me was that the heroine is someone I could really identify with. There are so many witty and honest observations about the way things are, and the pain of a broken heart. I really enjoyed her last book, "Old School Ties", but I think, if anything, that this one is even better. Highly recommended, whether you're broken hearted or not!

Although you'd expect a book about divorce to be at least somewhat bitter and angry, there's none of that in this book. Though it was sad on occasion, this story is primarily optimistic and heart-warming.
If you're relationship is falling apart, if you're divorced or thinking about divorce, this is a must-read, but I'd recommend it as a fun read for just about anyone.

Just finished reading this book, i loved the way it was written and really enjoyed the main character. I love chick/girly books but this one had an edge to it, so it wastnt too sweet and obvious. Going to start reading the rest of Kate Harrison's books.
