Format:Mass Market Paperback
This is only the second book I have read by this author and the first in the'Star' novel set. It has made me want to go out and by the first two books.

The Star Princess is the tale of Ilana Hamilton an adoptive princess who has chosen to live on her mother's home world of earth rather that her stepfather's Vash. Her comfortable and private life is working out just fine, mostly free of the media that follows the rest of her family. That is until her brothers friend and prince of Vash Che turns up on her doorstep for a holiday! Now the media won't leave her alone and unlike the other men that have been in her life she can't get rid of him. But does she really want to?

Susan Grant is a very unique writer. Her romance read alot like science fiction but don't miss that magic that we all love in romance novels. Her characters are also unique as well. They aren't perfect. For example Ilana is not a young naive virgin but has problems and a life just like the next person. Her life also does not just stop so her romance can take place like in alot of other futuristic romances. I just can't recommend this author or the book highly enough.

This is the latest in her series about the Vash. It was not as good as the Star King, but still enjoyable. The ending was good as it wasn't what I had expected, but there were a few occasions during the book when I was confused about the characters motivations. Reading this made me appreciate quite how excellent her book Contact is.
