More About the Author

My name is Gary Biltcliffe and I am a researcher and investigator of ancient sites, earth mysteries and lost knowledge. I have lectured widely in the UK and led International groups around Britain's sacred sites and written articles for journals and magazines. I have written two books - The Spirit of Portland, Revelations of a Sacred Isle and The Spine of Albion - both books developing from my fascination with the British Isles and its great and mysterious heritage. The Spine of Albion is the research of a central axis of centres through Britain that includes six cities.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dedicated Research 1 Jun 2014
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
The authors have put a lot of work into the research for this book and over many years; they describe how the male and female energy channels, or serpents, weave about this “Albion” Ley-line that spans the length of the UK and maybe beyond. Most remarkable is all the important religious buildings and certain other important buildings constructed upon these weaving energy channels! The authors present the facts which speak for themselves, showing that quite obviously our ancestors had a knowledge that now seems to be lost!

This is an important book cataloguing their research: definitely recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars A magnificent work 12 Dec 2013
This has been an enthralling read. The authors have successfully deployed an approach of intuition and solid research to produce an excellent read that not only describes the energy line, but also provides a wealth of information about the history and folklore associated with its route. Even though I have explored Britain widely, there is still much to learn about our magical isle. A more thorough proof read would have been worthwhile, but nevertheless I don't feel that this detracts from a five-star rating. I would also recommend Gary's earlier work, The Spirit of Portland.

4.0 out of 5 stars An invitation to explore places and ideas 25 May 2013
Format:Paperback|Verified Purchase
I love exploring places of historical and mythical significance - this book provides suggestions of new locations and gives details that will make any visit to them all the more enjoyable and meaningful. Although I have no direct experience of earth energy work the book was an invitation to explore, not only the places featured, but also the ideas and concepts.

The style of writing made me feel I was on a personal journey with the authors. I enjoy reading about landscape mysteries but I think it was this feeling of being invited by the authors to explore with them that really made the book a special one for me.
