A Washington senator gets involved with a beautiful woman who hides a fatal secret in her family heritage.
Light read, the author emphasises the obvious charms of the beauty so often, (i.e. the size of her breasts) that I'm fairly certain it's not meant to be taken that seriously. Indeed the senator is so stupid, not to mention borderline unpleasant, that I also wonder where Masterton's sympathies lie.
A silly and not especially effective horror novel, but anything that pokes fun at macho men who want it all their own way deserves some praise.
