This set contains the films he created for The South Bank Show - Britain s longest-running arts programme, presented throughout by Melvyn Bragg. Setting a new standard for arts coverage in the UK it provided an outlet for Russell's later works, covering Holst, Bruckner, Vaughan Williams, Bax and Elgar among others.
