While they push the boundaries of musical genres, they still manage to maintain their distinct identity. The album could have been called Sounds From The Diaspora. At times you think you are in Bosnia or Romania. At other times it feels like you are in Russia, or India even.
"Time" and "Water" are my favorite compositions on the album. BBC World Service DJ Charlie Gillet played "Time" on his show. "Water" displays some extraordinary violin solos that I, as a blues/rock guitarist, wish I could have come up with.
Five stars aren't enough for this album.
