Format:Audio CD
Fred Morrison has done himself proud with this wonderful piece of work. Known as being as one of the world's best in terms of technique, what stands out here is the beauty and lyricism of the playing. My favourite track is Drumbuie, a duet between Fred and Deirdre (his wife) on fiddle. Stunning.
Absolutely essential listening for anyone who loves traditional music.

Format:Audio CD
I first heard Fred Morrison in Brittany a few years ago and his technical ability and the atmosphere he created stunned me. This album was most definitely not a disappointment. I cannot fault it. It will withstand time and all the other sounds and performances which come and go. This album took me back to another time, another place. It is brimming over with integrity and sheer life and talent. Listen to Drumbuie!

This cd is exellent value for money,contains some exellent tracks across a wide spectrum of sounds.Another cd of quality from Fred Morrison,he has recorded several other cd,s of pipe/bluegrass music and the quality and listenability is first class.
