A word of caution: this DVD set has been inaccurately titled in the UK. Series 6 of "The Sopranos" is being broadcast in two parts and comprises 21 episodes in total. This set only contains the first 12 instalments and should therefore be titled "Series 6, Part 1" (as it is in the US). A complete boxset should follow when the series has finished transmission.
ADDENDUM: Amazon changed its product description since I wrote this review, but the packaging still says "Series Six".

good end to the show but why a two part box set,most of the dicses on part two contain only two episodes per disc ,its just a way of getting more money out of fans

The final series opens with the observation that, "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the American public". Fortunately, The Sopranos proves to be the exception to the rule. Everything about the Sopranos--the acting, directing, writing, casting, cinematography, even the set dressing--is perfectly thought out and executed. This may be the beginning of the end but the show is going out in style.
