Product Description

Product Description

The 2008 Cannonball Run saw the now familiar gathering of supercars and drivers ready to participate in Europe's infamous premier road race. One car stood alone, distant but very much 'at the party'. Read the exciting exploits of how Cannonball was stunned to see this 125mph plus smart car take on the 'big boys' and WIN.

Excellent read 30 Mar 2011
Format:Hardcover
Being a Smart owner myself, I knew this was a must-buy. I can honestly say I am far from a 'book person', but I couldn't put this down. The story of events are written in a very non-formal style, which makes the book enjoyable to read; at times having me laughing out aloud.

I will admit there are parts of the book - towards the beginning - which are a little dragged out; mainly about the history of some driving films related to the Cannonball, but that's just me being young and impatient!

The rest of the book is an excellent read and you almost feel you're on the journey with them.
