Good documentary 27 Mar 2010
Good documentary in English about Sugar business and the abolition of slavery.
Subtitles in English should be added for non natives english speakers.

Teacher in France 6 Dec 2011
I find the second part (Breaking the Chains) very interesting but wonder where the first part of this two-part docu-drama is? It is not on my DVD and when I ordered it from Amazon it was not clear that there are two separate DVDs, but this seems the only explanation! I regret that there are not sub-titles in English to aid comprehension for non-native speakers. I teach this in a university class in France.
