I'm a huge Feeder fan and would certainly recommend this to people who only have one or two of their albums, but for those, like me, who already have them all its a bit of a waste of time. Nevertheless, don't let me take away the quality of this collection, I just hope it dosen't spell the end to one of the most underrated bands in the business.

5.0 out of 5 stars one for the casual buyer 26 May 2006
Format:Audio CD
Okay its a singles collection, but without all the singles. Except on the dvd version you get all the videos.

That said it is a good collection, and the new tracks are good, better than the singles off the previous album anyway.

Fans will buy this for the new tracks but to those of you who know buck rogers and just a day etc this is well worth getting.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Singles 13 July 2008
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
If you like Feeder, but don't want to buy all their albums, then this is probably the best place to start. You get a great selection of their tracks from all their albums, plus the addictive 'Just a Day' which was pretty hard to track down until their B-sides album came out. You get all the best tracks from 'Comfort in Sound' and 'Pushing the Senses', both top albums, as well as the more well known singles from their early albums. There isn't anything new here if you've got all of their stuff, but it is a good compilation for die hard fans who want a bit of everything in one place. Feeder are a great British rock band with some great rock tunes, perfect for summers afternoons or whenever you need a pick-me-up. Worth a try.

Feel free to check out my blog which can be found on my profile page.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great song after great song. 3 Oct 2006
Format:Audio CD
I've been a feeder fan for about 3 years and used to play some of their albums now and then but since getting this I've been playing it over and over, it's such a great collection with so many brilliant songs. They really are one of the best ever UK rock bands. So melodic and I like the way they can do a ballad and then be rocking the house down the next minute.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Album 5 May 2006
Format:Audio CD
'Singles' is a collection of Feeder's work from the last five studio albums, from their debut back in 1997 with up to the new single 'Lost And Found' and two other tracks recently recorded with Stephen Street. Including the rousing rock classics 'Come Back Around', 'Buck Rogers', 'Just a Day', as well as the Top 5 hit single 'Tumble And Fall' and epic anthems like 'High', 'Forget about tomorrow' and 'Just The Way I'm Feeling', 'Singles' is a fantastic collection of songs from one of the UK's premier rock bands, who appear to have gone from strength to strength, despite the many adversities they've faced over the years.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Music! 25 May 2006
Format:Audio CD
This is a great album. It contains all the best singles ( but personally I think some of their other songs are better). I agree, if you have all the albums then you have most of the songs, but the new songs are really good and it is worth buying the album just for those songs. Also the dvd is great, the videos are great and sometimes funny, the "Stereo World" vid is hilarious, Grant's hair is awesome! Actually they all have amazing hair in that video. Anyway, if you love Feeder then buy this album, if you like them, have only heard a few songs and want more then buy this album, if you don't like them don't buy the album, and if you love them but are very tight and don't want to fork out for the same stuff again then don't buy this album! I bought it and regret nothing! I love Feeder!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great 17 May 2006
Format:Audio CD
This is a great album, from the classic anthems such as 'Just a Day', and the amazing 'Seven Days In The Sun' to the newer more quiet anthemic songs like 'Feeling A Moment' and 'Tumble and Fall'.

Fantastic, although if you own the albums theres not really much point in getting it, unless you don't want to have to change disks for all the best songs!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent starting point! 29 Jan 2014

I admit that I am one of those casual fans that such compilations as this are aimed at. I haven't bought any of Feeder's studio albums and I'm in no particular hurry to do so. However, this is an excellent starting point, and one of the best greatest hits CDs that I've purchased in a long time. I love melodic rock music, and these guys sure know how to do a great ballad, as well as a harder, classic rock anthem.

Here you have twenty excellent tracks, in which eighteen of them were top 40 hits in the UK, therefore living up to it's name. 'The Singles' contains all the obvious tracks, which obviously makes for a great listen. I didn't think I knew many of the band's songs until I started playing it, but as it turns out, they are responsible for so many tracks that I've always loved: 'Just A Day', 'Just The Way I'm Feeling', 'Buck Rogers' and 'Feeling A Moment'.

This is an example introduction to Feeder, and a great choice if you only intend to buy one album. If you are looking for the hits alone, and not their album's highlights, 'Feeder: The Singles' will complement any good music collection.
