Fun:
This should be a 5-star game, and I was really looking forward to it after playing the DS version. But the crashing is a serious problem. I was unaware of this and as it was the first PSP game I'd played I assumed the problem was with the console, which I hastily returned for a new one. No luck. In response to another reviewer's suggestion to update the firmware, I did this in the hope it would solve the problem. Still no luck, alas. If you buy this anyway, save it at least once every 10 minutes and save it after you build anything new or achieve anything new. I find it incredible that such EA haven't offered a solution to this - it's simply unacceptable to have such a major problem with a brand-new game with a 'platinum' tag attached to it.
Also, you'll be disappointed with how easy this is compared with the DS version. While the graphics are certainly far superior, the gameplay itself is comparatively unchallenging. (Same can be said of Sims 2 on the PSP, which, again, while lovely to look at, and glitch-free in my experience, was so much less challenging than its DS version).

Fun:
This game was good fun but frustrating in that when building shelter, there isn't ever enough space for the prebuilt ones, and the game does not have enough memory to put an appropriate amount of walls, windows etc. on one piece of land. Other than that, it was good.
